A fitness buff, Padamsee gyms six times a week, practices pilates and is a fan of Lara Dutta’s taut toned body. “Lara has the sexiest torso in Bollywood”, says the actor, who was on a one-day whirlwind trip to the Capital to shoot an ad for Reebok’s EasyTone range. Surprisingly, while she has strong opinions against the recent raising of the drinking age in Mumbai, she says, the health junkie in her prefers a protein shake any day to a hard drink.

Talking about her films, Padamsee, who made her Bollywood debut with actor Ranbir Kapoor in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year (2009), says, “Every new film is a learning experience. I loved working with Ajay Devgn in Dil toh Bachcha Hai Ji. He is a powerhouse performer yet has a witty side to him.”

And what about the rumour mills doing the rounds about her recent link-up with cricketer Sreesanth? “Sreesanth is a friend but there is nothing going on between us. I am single,” replies the actor, who had once said in an interview that her dad would “kill her” if she talks about relationships.

So, is that what’s holding her back from talking about her love life? “Both dad and mom are very particular that I concentrate on my career now and not distract myself with anything. So, I am single and I like it that way,” says Padamsee.
