Although she refrains from naming the man in her life, actor Ileana D’Cruz says she is in a happy space in her relationship.
"My relationship status is good and I’m in a very happy space," says the 26-year-old, who is rumoured to be dating Australian photographer, Andrew Kneebone.
Ileana, who made her film debut with Barfi! (2012), says she no longer pays heed to rumours that link her with her co-stars.
"During both my films, Barfi! and Phata Poster Nikhla Hero (2013), people wrote stuff that was not right... things like, ‘something going on between her and Shahid (Kapoor).’ I did find these stories strange and at one point they started to bother me. But you can’t stop people from writing what they want to. I’ve now realised that any publicity is good publicity. It is better to be written about than not written about at all. At the end of the day, I know what’s right," she says.
About reports that she didn’t get along with fellow actor Nargis Fakhri in the recently-released,
, that also stars Varun Dhawan, Ileana says, "We fought like cats and dogs (laughs). The truth is, we both got along really well and had no cat fights. I believe Nargis is a lot more crazier than me."
The actor will be seen next alongside Saif Ali Khan in the film, Happy Ending.
