Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has denied finalising half-Czech, half-Pakistani model Nargis Fakhri for Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor.

There were reports that filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has finalised half-Czech, half-Pakistani model Nargis Fakhri for Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor, but the director denied it saying he is still looking for the female lead.

“No, that’s not true. We are still hunting for the female lead... I can’t speak more on it now as I am really not talking about it right now,” Ali, 38, said.
