Priyanka Chopra is a busy lady these days - with film releases, endorsement deals and not to mention her much awaited pop album.

In an interview for Gulfnews.com, before the Eid celebration in Dubai the lady came off as a smart and savvy young woman.

When asked about her new-found love for singing she clarifies that her decision to not sing for her films was deliberate.
"You know what, I never sang in any of my films, because I always knew I wanted to sing on my own pop album. I just never knew when, how or where. But I am really glad that I didn't sing in films, because now the novelty is still alive."

Shifting focus to more juicy details about her personal life, PC is not taking all the link=up rumours lying down.

"I think it's very difficult for a single girl — who's popular — to be in the film industry. I can't be standing on rooftops giving clarifications about who is in my life and what's happening in my life. So I decided from the first year in the industry itself that I will not speak about my personal life unless I have someone permanent. When I am engaged, the world will know," PC told the website.

There are no answers to who she's currently seeing, but clarifications on who she might are prompt. "Good looks really don't come into the picture. Intelligent, kind and courteous is what it takes.

"But now, it's all about movies and music in my life."
