Bollywood turned up in full strength at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, held in Mumbai on Sunday evening. And, they were all awed by Hollywood actor John Travolta, who was also at the do.
“Wonderful evening. Met one of my childhood favs John Travolta. Very sweet and humble,” said Abhishek Bachchan, who was awarded the Ultimate GQ Man Award. While Amitabh Bachchan also found Travolta “humble and sweet,” actor Aamir Khan said he attended the awards only to meet the Hollywood actor. “I am a big fan of John Travolta. I have seen a lot of his films. When I heard that he has come for this function, I made it a point to attend it. I’m also wearing a suit because of that,” he said.
VJ Anusha, who interviewed guests on the red carpet, said, “Had fun interviewing all the men! When Abhay (Deol) came to be interviewed by me, I fixed his hat in a more stylish way and he kept it like that all night.”
Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Rahul Khanna, Karan Johar and film-makers Anurag Kashyap and Vidhu Vinod Chopra were also present.
