Jack won’t settle for a coffin

Hollywood actor Jack Nicholson has been thinking about his funeral and is considering a number of options, but the actor says he will never end up in a coffin because he is claustrophobic.

Hollywood actor Jack Nicholson has been thinking about his funeral and is considering a number of options, but the actor says he will never end up in a coffin because he is claustrophobic.

Nicholson, 72, is considering being picked by vultures when he dies. The actor says he’s fascinated with traditional sky burials carried out by some Native American tribes, which involve the deceased’s body being hung from a tree and left for scavengers.

“I’ve had several ideas. Once, I thought it would be nice to be buried under a large statue that is at least ten meters high. Then I liked the nature of the Indians,” he said. But the actor is not too fascinated with the idea of being laid to rest in a coffin. “I will probably end up in a crematorium as I’m too claustrophobic for a coffin.”
