The 30-year-old, who stars in the TV horror show Ghost Whisperer as a woman who can see and communicate with the spirits, is a firm believer in supernatural powers. Imdb.com reports that Hewitt keeps a lucky seed with her to protect herself.

"I have a little seed that was given to me by a friend of mine that is meant to protect you and keeps you safe. I always have it with me or pinned to my wardrobe," she said.
