Fantastic Four actress Jessica Alba has gone public on a TV show about her plans to adopt a child. The actress has one child, daughter Honor, with husband Cash Warren.

Hollywood actress Jessica Alba has gone public on a US TV show about her plans to adopt a child.

During an appearance on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the actress revealed she's making big plans to extend her family.

"My mom grew up around a huge family, and they always wanted more kids... I'm totally inspired. If you have the love, and the capacity to love children, you should just adopt. And I plan on doing it," Hollywood.com quoted her as saying.

The actress has one child, daughter Honor, with husband Cash Warren.
