The last we heard on the death of Jiah Khan was that her mother Rabia Khan had petitioned the Bombay High Court to launch a CBI probe into the death of her daughter. She requested this citing that her daughter's death wasn't a suicide but in fact a murder.

Now we hear that the Bombay High Court has issued a directive to the police to register Rabia's statement following which an investigation will be launched. The said statement will be recorded at the Juhu police station on October 26, where the initial case was filed.
