A year ago, actor John Abraham would heat up Bollywood circles, thanks to his relationship with Bipasha Basu. But after his break-up earlier this year, he doesn’t want to be Callous and Irresponsible about his private space.
“Now, I fiercely guard my personal life. I didn’t do that in the past. Not everyone is allowed to enter my space,” says Abraham, 39, who is reportedly seeing 26-year-old banker Priya Runchal.
Ask Abraham if his parents have been asking him to tie the knot, and he refuses to comment, saying, “I would love to get married because it’s a beautiful institution. I want to be a good husband and a great father one day. But I don’t want to put a date or a time to it in an interview because I really want to protect my personal life. I can’t make an irresponsible comment now.”
The actor takes personal offence if he finds himself linked to any girl in the media.
“In the past, I have let things go, but now, I want to come across as someone who is serious about his life and career and the way he is projected too,” he says.

{{/usCountry}}Recently, he hobnobbed with Salman Khan on the sets of Bigg Boss. The actors weren’t known to share a great association.
“To be honest, there seemed to have been a problem back in 2006. But after that, we didn’t speak about it. So, the problem ceased to exist and it was only carried forward through media reports. It was gracious on our parts to not wash dirty linen in public. It always helps.”
