John gifts customised Harley Davidson to Akshay

Actors Akshay Kumar, and John Abraham have always maintained that they’re great buddies. But John, 39 has now gone a step ahead. The motorbike enthusiast, who has worked with 44-year-old Akshay in Garam Masala, Desi Boyz and Housefull 2, has gifted the latter a customised Harley Davidson bike, which reportedly cost around 30 lakh.

The motorbike enthusiast, who has worked with 44-year-old Akshay in Garam Masala, Desi Boyz and Housefull 2, has gifted the latter a customised Harley Davidson bike, which reportedly cost around 30 lakh.

“Akshay has always been a great friend. I have a lot of love and respect for him. We both love motorbikes, so I’m really happy to give him this bike,” says John.

This gesture, however, has a reason. “John had got his own motorcycle transported from Mumbai to London for the shoot of Desi Boyz, last year. Akshay really liked it and often used to ride the bike. Later, when they were working together in Sajid Khan’s Housefull 2, John told Akshay that he will gift him a similar bike to celebrate their joint success if their film becomes a hit. Keeping his promise, John ordered a customised Harley Davidson bike in black, as the colour is Akki’s favourite,” says a source.
