John Abraham’s increasing public appearances with girlfriend Priya Runchal, rumours of their recent engagement in Los Angeles recently and impending marriage in May aren’t of concern to Bipasha Basu, whom he dated for nine years until 2011.

When asked to comment on his relationship, the 33-year-old Jodi Breakers actor simply laughs, “I really wish he gets married. He is getting old.”

So far, 40-year-old John hasn’t spoken about his relationship with Priya. But sources close to him insist that the couple is ready to make a formal announcement of their decision to marry soon.

“Even after the break up with Bipasha, John was tight-lipped. It was only after she made a public announcement that he wrote a piece in the media explaining the break up, without divulging the reason. He wants to guard his personal space and will only announce the engagement and marriage dates once everything is finalised.” Reports suggest that Priya and John’s families have met and approved of their relationship.

Does she feel a void after her relationship with John ended? Bipasha scoffs, “Currently, there are too many men who want to date me, so I have to be careful. If I find an eligible man who fits the bill, I will get married too.”
