Singer Joss Stone has stripped for a new PETA campaign in a bid to ban black bear pelts worn by royal guards in Britain.

"The plight of wild bears hunted for their skins and for fun is a subject very close to her heart. She hates the fact that Canadian black bears are slaughtered for their skins to make The Queen's Guards' ceremonial caps so she decided to peel off for the campaign. It's quite full-on. She's laying on a Union Jack (flag) with nothing on. It sends a message to the Palace over the fur they use. They are beautiful pictures and she was very comfortable being without clothes," dailystar.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

The singer has teamed up with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) activists for the shoot in the hope it will convince officials to get rid of the Canadian bear fur caps worn by the officers.
