Kalam set for movie debut

Former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will be seen on the silver screen for the first time in the film I Am Kalam. The film is about a young boy's dream who gets inspired after watching a speech given by Kalam.

Former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will be seen on the silver screen for the first time in the film I Am Kalam, says Gulshan Grover.

"He knows about the film and he has given his nod. He has even kindly done a cameo appearance in it," Gulshan, who is also acting in the film, told IANS.

The film is about a young boy's dream who gets inspired after watching a speech given by Kalam. It is an India-French collaboration with participation from Unicef. The film is being directed by Madhav Panda.
