Remember the rash, irreverent Kangna Ranaut in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Fashion? The actor did a repeat of the character at an event in Delhi on Wednesday.
Publicists of a fashion show, at which the 25-year-old played showstopper, say she threw tantrums, refused to interact with media as was scheduled, and disappeared from the scene without notice despite repeated requests from them for hours.
Publicity officials also said she looked visibly uninterested all through the press conference and did not entertain photo calls. According to sources, the actor had given her consent to speak to media after the event, but just when the interactions were about to begin, they were called off as the actor was said to be ‘upset’ about some reports.
While Kangna remained unavailable for comment, some believe this to be a publicity gimmick for her next film, in which she plays a behenji-turned-diva.
