Actress Kate Hudson and actor Owen Wilson's on-off romance has finally come to an end after the former turned down the latter's marriage proposal.

Contactmusic.com reports that the two started dating in 2006 after working together in You, Me and Dupree, but split in 2007. They were reunited earlier this year, but have decided to end their relationship after Hudson turned down Wilson's marriage proposal.

"Owen wants to get married and he proposed to Kate soon after they got back together. But she's not ready," said a source close to the couple.
