Twilight star Robert Pattinson, 26, is being comforted by singer friend Katy Perry, 27, after his girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him with director Rupert Sanders.

Pattinson had supported Perry when she went through her own split with comedian Russell Brand, last year, reported Daily Star online. “Katy has reassured Rob that she is there for him, and has urged him to take a break with her,” a source said.
