Katy Perry has denied reports claiming that she is expecting a baby with fiancé Russell Brand.

The singer was rumoured to be pregnant after the couple was spotted scoping out booties at a baby boutique in North London.

But a spokesperson for the I Kissed A Girl hitmaker dismissed the reports saying the star was getting a sonogram and showing off a baby bump were "not true", reports Us magazine.

The 25-year-old beauty also wrote on her Twitter page that she was on "my period". She added: "Better luck next month peepz.”
