Hudson was out Grocery Shopping in California when he was approached by paparazzis who wanted a comment on his daughter’s break-up which was announced on Friday night.

When the paps asked what he thought of the split, he repeatedly said, “I can’t talk... I can’t talk to you” before adding a very polite Sorry about that, the Mirror reported.

Hudson and his wife Mary are both Christian pastors and both have been rumoured to be unhappy about Perry’s pop star lifestyle and marriage to former sex addict Russell Brand.
