It’s the million dollar question that actor Deepika Padukone is just not interested in answering. Is the actor dating Siddharth Mallya, business tycoon Vijay Mallya’s son? “Keep guessing,” says Deepika, a mischievous smile playing on her lips.
“You know, I have never spoken about it or either commented on it ever. I’ll just leave it at that and if people want to speculate on it, they are welcome to. That’s all I will say, keep guessing,” says Padukone, who was in town to launch a collection of Ferragamo shoes.
The actor recently made headlines when it was reported that she had decided to get rid of the RK tattoo — supposedly signifying ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor — on the nape of her neck. “I have never spoken about my tattoo or about removing it. Whether it’s there or not there, the fact remains that I never said it and I am not going to say anything now,” she says.
Though her latest film, Lafangey Parindey, failed to click at the box office, Deepika’s role as a blind dancer has been appreciated. “The role was extremely challenging. But, I must say that I learned a lot. I didn’t want to watch anyone else’s performance to influence my role, but I visited blind schools. The appreciation I have received from people after they watched the film is my achievement.”

{{/usCountry}}Coming to Delhi is like a homecoming for the actor. “I have a connection with Delhi because I started my modelling career here, did lot of shows and I also did the Fashion Week here. And also for the fact that some of our country’s best designers are from Delhi. This sort of brings me back every time,” she concludes.
