“It was because of the love for martial arts that I entered the film industry. It was because of the film industry that I could be a part of organising India’s biggest Karate championship here. The students that you see here have come from all over India. This year, we received around 55,000 applications in comparison to 33,000 last year. We have invited around 4,500 students here and have given them a platform to showcase their talent,” said Kumar. The best five kids of the competition will be sent to Japan to take part in an international tournament.

“I would select three to four students and send them to Japan for the international tournament,” said Kumar.
