It's been five years since Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao tied the knot but it seems the couple still hasn't had a honeymoon exactly and what's more… they don't intend to anytime soon.
For the last three years, Aamir Khan has been very busy with the releases of his films Taare Zameen Par, Ghajini and 3 Idiots, all of which were holiday releases. As a result, he was never free around this time of the year and it seems he doesn't want it any different this year.
The actor has decided to get himself busy with the sound mixing of his wife's film Dhobi Ghat. Interestingly, wife Kiran Rao was all excited and enthusiastic about planning a trip to Panchgani to usher in the New Year. Unfortunately for Kiran, Aamir not only cancelled the plan but preferred to work rather than have a holiday, reported Mid-Day.
So, why is it so urgent that Aamir and Kiran stay on for Dhobi Ghat? It seems that Aamir wants to concentrate on the sound mixing of Dhobi Ghat because delaying it might hamper the further promotion and marketing of the project, a source told the tabloid.
Aamir confirmed to tabloid, "Yes, Kiran wanted to go for a holiday, she has been planning a holiday for longest time." Poor Kiran.
