What’s your beauty ritual before leaving home?
Applying sunscreen. I never leave home without it. K

Chilled rose water spray makes my face glow.

Your make-up funda?
I avoid make-up when not at work. And when I do put on make-up, my mantra is — less is more.

Your best feature?
My eyes — they are exactly like my mother’s eyes.

Earthy shades or vibrant hues?
Earthy shades work well for my complexion.

Strict no-no?
Smoking. It’s the worst for skin.

Parlour visits are for..
Waxing. I visit spas too for massages.

Can’t stay without..
Kohl. It really opens up my eyes. It’s my make-up must-have!

Beauty icon?
My mother. She’s just perfect.

Beauty wish list?
Nothing. I’m quite content by what I have.

Beauty quick-fix?
I wash the face to free it of any dirt, oil or environmental residue. Then, just apply lip balm and kohl.

Bedtime beauty ritual?
A gentle face wash and moisturiser along with eye cream is all I do before heading to bed.

How do you tackle a bad hair day?
I just tie up my hair tight.

Ageing gracefully or.. ?
Ageing gracefully. Going under the knife to prolong my beauty is something I don’t believe in.
