Even Bollywood’s biggest stars were gobsmacked by the grandeur of the grandeur of the Reddy wedding. Over 6,000 people attended the wedding of industrialist GVK Reddy’s granddaughter Mallika Reddy to Indu Group’s scion Siddharth Reddy on Saturday night.
Actors Shah Rukh Khan, Jaya Bachchan, Esha Koppikhar, Shriya Saran, Pooja Bedi, filmmaker Boney Kapoor and Sri Devi were among those who attended the wedding. “Lavish, outstanding, no adjective is enough,” said Bedi. “The grandeur of an Andhra wedding, its hospitality, its food, decor and personal care ...so enchanting,” he tweeted.
“Each guest was served in a silver thaali, chartered flights were arranged for outstation visitors and when we were leaving, we were all given boarding passes with a Thank You note,” says a guest who attended the wedding.
Unlike the sangeet, which was hosted by Karan Johar and saw performances by SRK, Priyanka Chopra and singer Jay Sean, the wedding just had a traditional Indian performance. “The food was also strictly vegetarian, but there were delicacies from every region of India,” the guest adds.

On Sunday, the couple hosted a brunch for friends and later this week there will be a reception in Delhi.
