Kareena Kapoor’s mother, Babita, is a regular at Otter’s Club in Bandra. She has planned a taash party there with her buddies.

Like every year even this time Shabana Azmi has planned a card party. Ditto for Yash Chopra. Son Uday Chopra is expected to play host this year.

On the TV front, the news is bleak with the on-going CINTA strike bringing shoots to a standstill and Ekta Kapoor’s mega soap Kyunki Saas bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi going off air. It’s uncertain whether Kapoor will be in a mood for her annual gala this year.

Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan are also known for their boisterous card parties but even they are looking glum these days.

Maayka star Neha Bamb is however going to go crackers with hubby dearest. And Sharad Kelkar and wife Keerti are all set to create a dhamaka with gaana bajana.

Akshay Kumar hasn’t been in Mumbai for Diwali the last three years. But this year, the actor has planned to host a bash at his Juhu apartment and the who’s who of show town have been invited.

Ajay Devgan will be in London, filming Vipul Amritlal Shah’s London Dreams. Wife Kajol and daughter Nysa will be joining him there.

Since Salman Khan is also in London for the same shoot, he will miss out on Diwali celebrations his family
organises whenever he’s in town at his Bandra apartment.
