Rumours of a romance began this week after Star magazine reported that newly single Efron had “instant chemistry” with the 26-year-old Schilling.

But, according to E! Online, the actors’ bond hasn’t turned romantic – yet – though they have gotten “chummy.”

“They joke around, eat together sometimes, run lines. Nothing out of the ordinary” the New York Daily News quoted a source from the set as saying.
