The diva is the seventh Bollywood actor to enter the world-famous wax museum after Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and recently, Kareena Kapoor. Some of these actors, Madhuri describes as her “personal heroes”.

Tussauds, in a statement, said that the decision to include the award-winning actor and dancing star in that list “is set to delight Bollywood fans around the world as we are constantly inundated with requests to feature Madhuri”.

The museum has pegged the cost of the figure at 1,50,000 pounds (Rs 1.2 cr). It will apparently take a team of sculptors, hair, wardrobe and make-up experts roughly four months to create the statuette. They have admitted that Madhuri, who relocated to India from the US, recently to resume her acting career, has already had a sitting with their sculptors.
