Madonna converts Mercy to Kaballah

Mercy James, the four-year-old girl from Malawi took the first step into her new life with 'Queen of Pop' Madonna, when she was converted into Kaballah, a faith followed by the singer.

Mercy James, the four-year-old girl from Malawi took the first step into her new life with 'Queen of Pop' Madonna, when she was converted into Kaballah, a faith followed by the singer. Just hours after the toddler was flown into London from her birthplace in Africa, she was initiated into the cult with a session at the Kaballah centre in London, reported Sun online.

The session was also attended by Madonna's three other children, Lourdes, Rocco and David whom she had adopted from Malawi in 2006 as well as ex-husband Guy Ritchie. The family spent an hour at the meeting in London before Mercy, wearing a pair of new shiny white sandals, returned to Madonna’s 15 million pound home in Mayfair. Guy took Rocco and David to his Wiltshire home for the weekend, allowing Madonna time to bond with her new daughter.
