Popstar Madonna was turned away by her designer friend Marc Jacobs from his much awaited show at New York Fashion Week.

Popstar Madonna was turned away by her designer friend Marc Jacobs from his much awaited show at New York Fashion Week. Jacobs, whose show last season saw Madonna pose alongside popstar Lady GaGa, said he finds the celeb culture “boring”.

“Madonna just called and said she was coming, and we weren’t holding the show for her. Last year, it generated so much press but I was like, ‘Did anybody actually watch the show?’”, the designer said.
