Morning my Dollops Double Sundaes. Ah! What a beautiful breezy day this is. I just don’t wanna step out of my satin sheets, not even for my morning tea and newspaper but then, there are rituals you can’t do much about. Of course, the third and most important ritual is to fill you on the snazziest goss circulating in Movie Empire. So, without much delay, here goes.

A certain princely actress might soon start endorsing cold and cough medicine, since she’s been consuming a lot of it for the last few days. Ahem! Now, you wonder what and whom am I referring to because no actress really talks about sardi-zukaam on screen, not with a pill bottle in hand, for sure.

The actress in question is Ms Rani Mukherji (clap, clap). Apparently, she has developed a sore throat and a running nose. Really? I thought with the voice she has, she has a sore throat through the year. Anyway, that running nose is just so…fuhget it.

Anyway, Queenji carried her runny nose and sore throat to the Dance Premiere League sets at RK Studios recently. In a skin-showing blouse and sari, she kept going uhuuhu-uhu. After a while, choreographer Shiamak Davar, a judge on the show, felt a little uneasy because everytime that Mukherji Devi sneezed, a retake had to be done. After several of them, Davar turned Dayavan and offered her tablets. He even ordered chai and a blanket for her.

Methinks some people take their names a little too seriously. Queenji, for instance.
