The original enfant terrible of the Indian fashion world, Malini was born in New York and moved to India at the age of eleven. After dabbling in various fields such as radio, TV and even writing, Malini got into the fashion world quite by accident and stirred up a storm with her debut show at the inaugural Lakme India Fashion Week in 2000. She is known to design glamorous clothes in vibrant colours with plunging necklines. Now, Malini Ramani has been chosen to be the Grand Finale designer at the forthcoming Lakme Fashion Week.
