Mel Gibson and his ex-girlfriend Oksana Gigorieva have finally reached a settlement in their bitterly fought separation case.
Los Angeles Superior Court officials have said in a statement that the resolution came at the end of a multi-day settlement conference, the Daily Express reported.
Although the terms and conditions of the settlement have not yet been announced, yet the court has said that the civil financial agreement would be heard in open court, whereas the custody of their daughter will be discussed in a closed session.
The agreement between the 55-year-old Australian-American actor and his 31-year-old Russian pianist ex-girlfriend has brought about an end to a legal legend that made headlines last year after Gigorieva claimed Gibson had hit her during a fight at his Malibu home in January 2010.
