They have one of the most enduring partnerships in the rock history but despite working together for 50-years Rolling Stone's guitarist Keith Richards have no kinds words to describe his friend Mick Jagger.

Richards calls the frontman as 'unbearable' in his autobiography Life and has some unflattering things to say about their turbulent relationship, the Daily Mail reported.

The 66-year-old says he nicknamed Jagger as 'Brenda' and 'Your Majesty'.

"I used to love Mick, but I haven't been to his dressing room in 20 years. Sometimes I think, 'I miss my friend'. I wonder, 'Where did he go? It was the beginning of the Eighties when Mick started to become unbearable," says Ricahrds in the book which releases later this month.

Richards also believes that Jagger is very "possessive".

"We've had our beefs but, hey, who doesn't? You try and keep something together for 50 years. I've no doubt, in retrospect, that Mick was very jealous of me having other male friends. Maybe his exclusivity is bound up with his own siege mentality," he said.

But despite the harsh words, Richards admits that he still loves Jagger.

"Because I love the man dearly; I'm still his mate. But he makes it very difficult to be his friend."
