Singer Jennifer Lopez, who was spotted without her wedding ring during the Golden Globe award function, has dismissed reports that her marriage to Marc Anthony is in trouble.
Lopez attended the star-studded event with her singer husband amid reports that her marriage was on rocks and the missing wedding band further fuelled such rumours, but the singer has clarified that she was only trying to make a fashion statement.
"Every time I'm not wearing my ring, people think I'm getting divorced. That's crazy. It just didn't go with the dress. Divorce is not and was never an option," Lopez told In Touch magazine.
The couple has been dogged by break-up reports for sometime, with a US tabloid even claiming that the star couple will announce a break-up publicly on Valentine's Day. However, publicists for the couple have dismissed it as "nonsense".
"Jennifer and Marc are committed to the future and to each other," Lopez's friend Benny Medina said.
