For Delhi women who never get tired of clothes, this is the place. Shankar Market is Delhi’s garment hub where you can get fabrics at wholesale prices. The tailors in this market are so much in demand that you need an appointment to get your clothes stitched here. While shopping around here, eat at the famous Rajma Chawalwallah, ironically more famous for his piping hot gulab jamuns, which can give competition to any popular mithai shop.

The market situated just next to Shankar Market houses popular dhabas such as Kake Da Hotel, Bhape Da Hotel, National amongst others. Hop across to Yamus Panchayat for a paan or chuski after a heavy meal at these. An ice cream shop called the Gianis has also opened its outlet in the market.

Popular with foreigners and college students, this flea market is where you get stylish and fashionable wear at dirt-cheap prices. Haggle and bargain to get the best deal from here. While shopping here, you can have cold coffee at De Paul’s and momos from the vendor right outside it.
