Socialite Nicole Richie has tied the knot with rocker Joel Madden in a simple ceremony.

They got married in a traditional ceremony Saturday. The couple, who had been dating for the past four years and have two children together, invited about 130 guests including family and friends. Madden's twin brother and Good Charlotte bandmate Benji Madden were among them.

Richie's father and music superstar Lionel Richie set up two tents for the ceremony.

"They wanted an Old Hollywood, glamorous feel to their wedding," people.com quoted a source as saying. "They're going all-out with the decor. Nicole wanted a memorable, elegant affair for only their closest friends and family on their special day."
