Priyanka Chopra refuted rumours of spending New Year’s Eve with Shahid Kapoor at an undisclosed location in Chandigarh, after a news report in a leading tabloid claimed so.
The actor, who will soon be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s 7 Khoon Maaf, has on many occasions insisted that her private life need not be revealed to the public.
Clearing the air on the latest buzz, she says, “I am spending New Year’s Eve in Goa with my family and a gal pal. We have planned loads of fun stuff to do.” She was, in fact, spotted at the Sunburn music festival on Wednesday.
Even though both she and Kapoor have not confessed to being in a relationship, their chemistry according to Karan Johar, on his show Koffee With Karan, conveyed a different meaning altogether.
The couple made references towards each other and sportingly joked about their much-debated relationship. They, at one point, looked at each other and even said, “Are we dating?” To which, Chopra went on to say that if Kapoor and she were dating it wouldn’t be a bad thing, because according to her they look great together.

Kapoor is currently in the city to shoot for father Pankaj Kapur’s Mausam, along with co-star Sonam Kapoor. This project is being touted as his most ambitious one to date.
