While on his way to a recent awards function, filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj had to go back home because of a severe pain in his leg. However, his decision to skip the function was hampered when he got a call from actor Shah Rukh Khan, who called to ask when Vishal was reaching.
A source close to Bhardwaj says, “Vishal told him that he was going back, but SRK insisted he come, since he and Shahid Kapoor had something planned for him. Bhardwaj, who is in the process of discussing a script with SRK, took an injection to relieve the pain and came for the event.”
