Achha listen, a parinda from Versova has dropped in to beak the khamoshi on Silence. Well, it’s Anurag Basu’s next film in which Ranbir Kapoor plays a deaf-mute character and Priyanka Chopra has been confirmed for one of the two female leads. So?
So I’m informed that all the talk about the lissome lass opting for the other lesser glamourous part, even though she was signed on for another role, is all humbug. Parinda recalls meeting Chopra’s saheli, who spilled the beans during the course of their conversation.
Never mind what buzz is going around in tinsel town, fact is that there’s no going back and forth on the female roles in Silence. Chopra is very much playing the part she was initially offered and Basu babu has no second thoughts of making any changes in his casting now.
