The 32-year-old singer took to his blog to blast a suggestion that his concert comments about “second chances” related to getting back together with the actor, People reported online. “This is equal parts fabricated, cobbled together and misleading,” Mayer said.

Another quote he says was taken out of context from his show last weekend, explaining that it was actually a reference to the song Half of My Heart and not a veiled comment about a rekindling of his romance with Aniston. “Two sentences about different things,” Mayer said.
