Shah Rukh will be celebrating his birthday eve on the streets of Delhi — quite literally.
Khan, who would be participating in Airtel Half Marathon in the capital tomorrow would lead a pack of celebs including actors Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Purab Kohli, Rahul Bose and several others.
For Purab Kohli, the marathon is also about standing up for a cause. He will be running for the cause that he strongly believes in — Animal Welfare — in association with the NGO Friendicoes. Kohli, who has been training for the marathon can run 14-15 kms at a stretch. He has already raised almost Rs 2 lakh for the cause, and says, “All it took was a mail to my family and friends and they responded immediately. My biggest donor is Karan Johar. Gaurav Kapoor and Simone Singh are also helping me.”
