The Bollywood wedding that has taken the most number of U-turns has made a final stop — it’s NOT happening in October. That is, if the latest, strongest buzz is to be believed. A recent report in a Mumbai tabloid says that Kareena has developed cold feet and called off the wedding, earlier reported to take place on October 16. Bebo is apparently worried that marriage may interfere with plum projects coming her way, with her first ‘marriage loss’ being Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious next. Another Mumbai tabloid on the same day quoted Saif asking for “two months” before he announces the date.
To set the record straight once and for all, we texted Saif’s mother, actor Sharmila Tagore for clarification. But, she, who has always stood her ground on October 16 as the decided date, appeared to be miffed at the volley of questions and replied, “No need to call me. Ask Saif’s office.”
Bebo’s father, Randhir Kapoor, also denied the October confirmation given by Sharmila earlier, hinting at an unsure far-off date. “The wedding will happen when it has to. No date has been finalised yet,” he said.
The confusion that existed earlier saw many twists and turns. It was first speculated that the couple would get married after the release of their film Agent Vinod in May. Then, it was reportedly pushed to Valentine’s Day next year. However,
