Ram Gopal Varma is now going to attempt one of his favourite genres — horror – on 4-D. This will be the first ever 4-D film to be made in India. And the film is titled, Warning with the tagline — ‘You must die’.
Varma elaborates a bit on the concept. He says, “Warning is the underlying concept of my new film. If you think you’ve experienced everything in fear, just wait for Warning.”
Adding more to this, Varma also feels that the viewer is no longer removed from the happening on screen and should feel that he or she is up there along with the characters in the film and is in as much danger as they are. So far, only Riteish Deshmukh has been signed. The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.
What’s a 4D movie?
4D, like 3D, is seen in the third dimension except that the fourth dimension adds a physical. It’s like watching a 3-D film on rain in the forest and getting sprayed with water.
4-D is usually a 3-D movie with extra special effects that actually hit you in the face or make you feel as if something is under your seat. Disney world in Florida has these sorts of 3D movies. When the characters run, it feels as if they are running right into the audience.
