Model Padma Lakshmi gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday. The baby has been named Krishna.
Doctors say the baby’s birth is “a miracle”, because for years Lakshmi has suffered from endometriosis, which leaves its victims infertile. Lakshmi is the former wife of author Salman Rushdie. She has not shared the name of the baby’s father with the press yet.
