Peter Andre has pipped former wife Jordan a.k.a Katie Price to bag the hero of 2009 title in a survey.

The Aussie singer beat fellow divorcee Jo Wood, followed by X Factor winner Leona Lewis to win the celebrity of the year crown.

Jordan, on the other hand, was named voted the most hated celebrity in Britain.Katie was trailed by supermodel Kate Moss, drug addict Amy Winehouse and disgraced rapper Kanye West in the survey headed by Virgin Media.
