The former English cricketer wants to surprise the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister, and has reportedly asked a friend to check out engagement rings at Cotswolds.

Loudon, 31, has decided not to look around in London as it would attract too much attention, and it is rumoured that one ring designed by Diane von Furstenberg has already caught the Brit’s eye.

“Alex knows that if he doesn’t ask her soon he might lose her. He’s an ideal choice for Pippa,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.
