He’s the hottest Indian politician no matter what he wears, but Rahul Gandhi’s new bearded look hasn’t earned him any votes from female fans. The Gandhi scion, who has been sporting a clean-shaven look for years, was spotted wearing a stubble for a few months.
Then earlier this week, he appeared in Parliament in a well-kept beard. HT City asked some of his celebrity fans about which look suits him best — clean-shaven, stubbled or bearded. “Rahul Gandhi has a smooth personality and I think he should have that clean shaven look or at most a slight stubble. A beard doesn’t suits his personality,” says singer Sophie Choudhary.
“Indians like the clean shaven chocolate boy look. Rahul with a beard gives the impression that he has matured and that he’s working very hard. He should remain clean shaven, he looks more approachable then,” said stylist Ravi Raj. Designer Ritu Beri says, “He’s better clean-shaven any day.”
“Rahul has a killer smile and I wouldn’t like him to hide it behind a beard. Rahul, please shave,” says model Amanpreet Wahi.
