Priyanka Chopra was in for a surprise a few days ago. Her mother, Madhu Chopra, and her aunt paid her a visit in Manali, where she's shooting for Mary Kom.
A source from the set informs, “
was very happy to see her mom and aunt on the sets of the film. Post her father’s demise, her mom has been her emotional anchor. Whenever she is shooting for a difficult project, her mom is always on the set to boost her morale. Both the ladies would be accompanying Priyanka to the next schedule which will take place in Dharamsala in a few days.”
The insider also tell us that another reason why Priyanka’s mom came to meet her in the hill station was because it was her father, the late Dr Ashok Chopra’s, favourite holiday spot. “Priyanka and her family have spent many vacations there in the past. When her mom and aunt came over to Manali, they spent an entire evening reminiscing the good old days. Priyanka has always been close to her father,” the source adds.
Priyanka remained unavailable for comment, but her spokesperson confirmed the news, saying, “Yes, Priyanka's mother and aunt have joined her for her Manali schedule as she has a chock-a-block month ahead.”
