The Sherlock Holmes star was entering the US from her native Canada when she faced the officer who also criticised her hair, reported New York Times.

“She kicked me to the curb. She was tough. I had pink hair at the time, and she said, ‘Don’t dye your hair that colour and don’t make any more stupid movies’,” said the actor.
