Ravi Dubey fears darkness

Actor Ravi Dubey, who plays Tej in Sony’s Saas Bina Sasural, sleeps with his bathroom light on to counter his phobia of darkness.

Actor Ravi Dubey, who plays Tej in Sony’s Saas Bina Sasural, lives alone in Mumbai and apparently has phobia of darkness. He can’t stand being alone, hence, sleeps daily with his bathroom light on. “I don’t know how I developed the fear of darkness. Being alone in dark at times gives me the creeps. I don’t remember what triggered it, but I guess, like all other phobias it’s root is in the subconscious. But you need to face what you got to overcome,” he said.
